09.03.2010 | MÖBEL KRAFT TO RELY ON PRINOVIS MOBILE COUPONING FOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS

Möbel Kraft presents an innovative new service to its customers: the furniture retailer sends out SMS coupons (mobile coupons) with special codes that can be redeemed at scanners located at the main information desk in the Möbel Kraft branches. This lets customers use their mobile phones to quickly get the latest deals, information and promotions from the chain’s seven furniture stores across Germany. The necessary hardware and campaign management will be provided by Prinovis Mobile Solutions.

Möbel Kraft’s Marketing department can monitor the progress of the promotions live sing the Prinovis Online Reporting Tool (PORT®), allowing them to manage future campaigns in a more demand- and customer-driven, targeted way.

12.02.2010 | PIONEERING POLYBAGGING PROCESS AT PRINOVIS LIVERPOOL

PolyStream - the innovative new polybagging line from Ferag - undergoes its first live trials at Prinovis Liverpool. Foil-wrapping is taking on a key role for Liverpool, especially in relation to magazines and supplements produced for News International.

Forty million foil-wrapped bundles are shipped each month from the facility, where the PolyStream line is set to boost net output by a factor of at least two. Prinovis performance estimates for PolyStream showed stable production at net output of 25,000 bundles per hour, including demanding collections, with products of varied formats, paginations and substrates.

To overcome existing performance barriers, Ferag completely reworked the basic functions, from hopper feeding to collecting to foil sealing and evacuation of finished bundles.
