Tradition with future
Prinovis was created through the merger of the German rotogravure divisions of the three media companies Gruner + Jahr, Axel Springer, and arvato Bertelsmann. The Hamburg-based company operates under the legal structure of a Limited & Co. KG. Prinovis is a decentralised association of medium-sized companies and the market leader in European illustration printing. The company provides innovative rotogravure printing solutions as well as flexible services to customers across Europe. Prinovis operates five plants located in Ahrensburg, Darmstadt, Dresden, Itzehoe and Nuremberg respectively. Another Prinovis plant is currently under construction in Liverpool and is expected to start production in 2006.
