UK's Trade & Investment Minister congratulates Prinovis success

The Minister of State for Trade & Investment – Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham – has met with Richard Gray at Prinovis Liverpool as part of a visit to thank the city's biggest and most successful inward investment companies for choosing to set up their businesses in the region.

Lord Digby Jones toured the Prinovis Liverpool premises and met with Richard and his team to hear about the latest developments. He said of his visit: »I was extremely impressed with both the state-of-the art technology and investment in manufacturing that I have seen today.«

»Prinovis is a quality global business and the fact that they have chosen to invest in Merseyside is a great testament to the region's reputation as a world class investment location.«

Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham was accompanied by his assistant, a press officer and a representative from the Government News Network.

Together, we announced the visit to regional media whilst Lord Jones was touring the facility – and we also held a briefing with the business news journalist from Liverpool newspaper the Daily Post during the visit. Earlier the same day, Lord Jones visited Swiss-owned flu vaccine manufacturer Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, which is also based on the Liverpool International Park and will provide direct and indirect employment for up to 800 people.
