PROOF PARAMETERS AND ICC-PROFILES

Welcome to the Colour Management Point of the PRINOVIS sites. Here you can get advice from our Colour Management Team, find related information and request the respective proofing profiles if desired.

Implementation of the European Process Standard Rotogravure PSR_V2 has been effected at Prinovis.

Information about the PSR_V2 can be found under www.eci.org.

The ICC profiles and the classifications can be downloaded here.

In the folder eci_gravure_psr_v2 you will find the documentation — eci_gravure_2009_EN.pdf in English — where you can see the allocation list PSR Standards for Rotogravure Paper Types.

The adaptations of the proofs to PSR_V2 can be obtained directly from the proofing system manufactures. The manufacturer for the systems in use all over Prinovis is EPSON; the common software is GMG. The internet address for downloading the up-to-date proofing adaptations is www.gmgcolor.com.

The following internal PRINOVIS Standards complete the PSR_V2 standards: „PRI_HWCWF" is available for cover production on high grammage paper „HWC-WF".

„PRI_LWC_MAG_PSRV2" can be requested from us for production on LWC-STD- paper types with magazine character „LWC-STD Mag".

Our Colour Management Team will be pleased to give advice and to supply you with the required profiles if desired.

Other data supplies will also be accepted but require clarification in advance with the respective responsible persons at the printing sites.

Please make sure to exclusively use systems certified according to FOGRA and tolerance ranges according to ISO 12647-7; if supplied within PSR_V2 additionally according to ΔE2000.
